ASMAC’s Predecessor

ASMAC’s immediate predecessor was the Packaging Adhesive Association which was present in Canada from 1956 to 1966.

Membership consisted of, Borden Adhesives, H.B. Fuller Canada, Industrial Adhesives, National Starch & Chemical, Stein Hall (Halltech Inc.), and Delpex. (Swift Adhesives were eligible for membership, but were unable to join due to a restriction imposed on them in the USA.) Ken Loomis was the Secretary of the Association.
